It’s time to begin your first tutorial and you’re not quite sure where it begin? This is where it starts, OBS studio is the program that we use to record both your screen and your face as you progress through the process that you would like to train our new team member on.


Editing Your Video

When you’ve completed your new training video, it’s only natural that there are some bloopers in there, perhaps you started recording a little early, or your computer hung for a moments, or perhaps an unexpected guest arrived right in the middle of your recording. Uploading Your Video To Vimeo

We use Vimeo for our online hosting service. Yes there’s also YouTube, but at this stage we would like more control over our content and we don’t necessarily want it available to the whole internet. This is why we have opted for video hosting on Vimeo. This tutorial will show you where you can upload your video as well as some of the basics behind the upload process.


Setting Permissions on Vimeo & Getting a Link

There’s allot that you can do with your video on Vimeo, such as a broadcast to the wider internet if you want to. For your videos though, it’s likely it is for either internal use, of for a paid subscription on the company website. This video will show you the correct way to setup your video to isolate its use, and how to get that all important link that you will need for the website.


Adding your video to the website

You’ve uploaded your video and you’re ready to put the content on the website. At first this might seem like a daunting task, but it is actually very straight forward. This video will show you exactly how to do that. This will include logging in, finding the section that you have been working on, and creating a section for users to view your video once they have subscribed.
