Graphic Design Library
We believe that great engineering projects do not stop with high quality engineering and project management. The way that information is communicated and presented, particularly with complex projects, plays a important role.
This is where our Graphic Design tools are applied. Our library showcases the products that we use to achieve that next level of quality. As we continue to expand this section, we anticipate making some of these resources available for download.
Adobe Acrobat DC
PDF documents have become an essential component of virtually every engineering business. As the prevalent digital format for secure document transmission, it is critical to possess a comprehensive understanding of your preferred PDF software. At Bolt & Forge, we have opted to utilize the Adobe suite of software, as their standardized settings offer a consistent experience across their product range. PDF files possess a wide range of capabilities that may not be immediately apparent to many individuals. To use our PDF software to its fullest, we have devoted a significant amount of effort to configuring our bookmarks, layers, physical print sizes, and signed certificates to ensure seamless functionality for our clients.
Adobe Illustrator
When designing logos, vector images, and infographics, we utilize Adobe Illustrator, a robust program that enables us to fully leverage the most commonly used image formats with ease. Whether it involves creating a high-quality logo for a .dwg file or developing an infographic for one of our proposals, Illustrator empowers us to perform these tasks with precision and at the highest level of quality.
Adobe Indesign
As word processing platforms continue to evolve, our team has observed the need to utilize more robust software beyond MS Word to achieve the next level of quality. Adobe Indesign, a potent documentation platform, enables us to overcome the formatting issues commonly encountered with other word processing applications. Have you ever encountered challenges with precisely placing images or text within a document? Or, have you ever considered writing automation scripts with JAVA? In these cases, Adobe Indesign may be a superior choice for your organization compared to MS Word.
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop is a well-known tool created by Adobe that requires little introduction. We have been using this program as our preferred photo editor for several years. It has been instrumental in generating content for a wide range of our marketing materials, including our website, reports, branding guidelines, and more. While we may not fully utilize its capabilities, few programs enable the creation or editing of visual documentation for almost any platform as easily and efficiently as Adobe Photoshop.
Adobe Lightroom
If you've ever completed a site visit on a cloudy or dark day, only to return to the office to find out that your photos are not as clear as you had hoped, then you aren't alone. For situations like these, we have Adobe Lightroom, which allows us to significantly enhance our photos to provide much more clarity. We take care to bring along more powerful photography tools that record our images in a native RAW format to ensure that we are never short of an important photograph due to low light or other visibility issues when returning from our inspections.
Adobe Premiere
We complete a lot of video editing at Bolt and Forge, which means that we need a powerful video editor to help us with this task. Adobe Premiere allows us to create drone videos, 3D modeling fly-throughs, and tutorials (both internal and external) with ease. As one of the most popular professional video editing software platforms, we are always learning new ways to present our video material in a more interesting and engaging way from other creators.
